Dump Truck Equipment Leasing may fall under the more general leasing category of Heavy Equipment Leasing or Commercial Equipment Leasing. Dump trucks are classified as heavy equipment like bulldozers, backhoes, and excavators. The numbers show that more than $3 billion in construction equipment like dump trucks are leased annually by US companies alone.
Some companies opt for Dump Truck Equipment Leasing because they are trying to expand the business and need their existing cash flow for this. Others may choose Dump Truck Equipment Leasing because their existing equipment suddenly failed to function so they need functional equipment quickly to keep operating. Dump Truck Equipment Leasing is also good for companies that want to gain a financial edge over their business rivals by being able to reap savings thru leasing equipment. Dump Truck Equipment Leasing would probably appeal to contractors in the construction business that will always need dump trucks.
If you just plain smart about choosing a lender, you might be able to get a Dump Truck Equipment Leasing arrangement customized to your business situation. This is very important because businesses may experience different business cycles, and cash flow patterns, while company owners may have different ideas of what constitutes as a sufficient budget. Construction projects are sometimes seasonal in nature, so you need a Dump Truck Equipment Leasing arrangement which can give you the flexibility of adjusting payments to the months when business is peaking and you can afford the payments on the Dump Truck Equipment Leasing arrangement.
Some lenders may offer a very quick processing time which gives company owners who are in a hurry an advantage for acquiring their dump trucks quickly. If you have the right documentation on hand, you could find yourself signing your Dump Truck Equipment Leasing contract fairly soon after submitting the leasing requirements.
Be sure though that the leasing options the Dump Truck Equipment Leasing arrangement you enter into has the right provisions you were seeking. Also, verify with your company accountant if your corporate income stands to gain via deductions from such a Dump Truck Equipment Leasing arrangement. This would probably be dependent on some tax laws or business tax conditions that only accountants may be updated about. Also examine the Dump Truck Equipment Leasing arrangement for the presence of soft costs.

The typical new half-ton pickups built by Ford trucks, Chevrolet trucks, Dodge trucks, GMC trucks, Nissan trucks, Toyota and Honda are as fuel-efficient as they can be right now. But the industry is on the verge of increasing its fuel efficiency because new government regulations will require it.
That’s long term. In the short-term, some farmers have chosen to weather the combination of rising fuel prices and the certainty that big pickups have limited fuel economy by putting off their new-truck buying. sales of “needed” large pickups were expected to be solid, but sales of pickups dropped off suddenly at the end of the year. Instead of a closing rally, the drop meant that Ford’s F-150, which has led all vehicles in sales in the U.S. for 31 straight years, was off by 13.2% for the just-ended year. The Chevrolet Silverado, with rave reviews as Truck of the Year for 2007, fell off enough to end 2.8% down from the old version’s 2006 sales. The Dodge Ram was off 2%, and the just-introduced Toyota Tundra, a newcomer to the full-size half-ton battleground, fell short of first-year projections.
Neither the Ram nor the Tundra numbers were considered significant. The Ram’s slight drop came at the end of its model run. The Tundra got off to a slow start for various early production circumstances, and its sales actually rose at the end of the year to still make 2007 qualify as a successful debut. On the other hand, the Nissan Titan was off by 9.2%, while the slightly undersized Honda Ridgeline dropped 15% from the previous year. The F-150’s drop was big, although the pickup has been replaced by an entirely redesigned model, introduced in January at the Detroit Auto Show. Similarly, Dodge will counter with its new Ram, first shown at the Chicago Auto Show in early February.

As for engines, the newest turbocharged diesels in the heavy-duty trucks have made significant strides, and Ford truck, Dodge truck, Chevy truck, GMC truck Toyota and Nissan truck are all readying new and lighter turbocharged diesel engines for their half-tons within a year.
Diesel power is much more acceptable these days, because low-sulfur diesel fuel, reduced from 500 parts per million sulfur to 15 ppm a year ago, burns cleaner and without the sooty, noisy effects of previous diesel power-plants. As good as low-sulfur fuel is, it can be displaced by biodiesel, which has been made predominately out of soybeans, but also could be extracted from prairie grasses, palm or other vegetable oils, algae, animal fats, or even the grease recovered from restaurant cookers. Biodiesel is made by a technique called transesterification, by which glycerin is separated from the fat in vegetable oil, leaving biodiesel on one side and glycerin, which can be made into soap, on the other. When burned, biodiesel is free of sulfur and aromatics and emits 60% less carbon dioxide. It is less toxic than table salt and biodegrades as easily as sugar.
Biodiesel technology already offers alternatives of various concentration, such as B20, B60 and B100. Engine manufacturers have readily sanctioned B5 but haven’t yet embraced B20 (20% biodiesel) because it has less fibrosity, which can be a problem for the engine seals. Some manufacturers are working on kits that can allow the use of B20, however.
Fuel prices keep rising, but the price of E85, with 85% ethanol. The rising cost of corn eliminated most of the profitability of making it into ethanol, causing some new ethanol plants to be placed on hold. The situation may continue, because it is estimated that it will take 20 million more acres of corn to make 8 billion more gallons of ethanol.

Buy a new or used car in good condition almost any model or brand like Honda cars, Nissan cars, Ford cars, Toyota cars etc. Almost 90% off from market price for autos. Find how you can find cheap used cars for sale. Buying another car is fun, when you can find it real cheap in car auctions.
Finding Used Car to buy can be a good bargain, only if you able to find best car deals for your money. Here are some car buying steps help you to decide how much money you should pay to buy a new or used car. Find good conditions cheap used cars for sale here. After finding a used car, you can save a lot of money. A new car depreciates quickly in the first few years and after 3 years, it is worth only about 50-70% of the original price. In fact, as soon as you leave the dealership, your new vehicle is suddenly worth $1000-$2000 less. When purchasing a new car you basically are paying for its fresh “new” aroma and warranty. Yet, buying a new car does not always mean the buyer will get perfection. A new car may come with problems associated with poor design or manufacturing defects by car manufacturer that may have been already repaired during the warranty coverage period if it’s a used car. The same is true for all kinds of recalls and service campaigns. Another advantage of buying a used car is that you could buy a loaded model with all the bells and whistles that you might not be able to afford had you bought a new car. However, buying a used car is still a bit of a gamble - there is no guarantee that the car is accident-free, has real mileage, and was properly maintained. There may be some hidden problems like a worn out automatic transmission, or engine problems that may not have been obvious when you test-drive the car.

General Motors Corp. is releasing new, more fuel-efficient versions of its full-size pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles later this fall.
The XFE or extra fuel economy of Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra trucks and Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon SUVs will get one mile per gallon more in both city and highway fuel economy than non-XFE versions. The boost will give them a total of 15 miles per gallon in the city and 21 on the highway.
On XFE models, GM improved the aerodynamics by extending the front lower air dam, lowering the suspension and revising the chassis tuning. The automaker also reduced the mass with aluminum parts, including an aluminum spare wheel and 17-inch aluminum wheels, gave the vehicles low rolling resistance tires and powered them with a 5.3-liter, ethanol-capable V-8 engine that has an aluminum cylinder block and heads .GM stressed that the vehicles still have the same towing capability.
The XFE pickups and SUVs will be available in the fourth quarter of this year. GM spokesman Brian Goebel wouldn’t say how much more they will cost than non-XFE versions.
GM began offering an XFE version of its Chevrolet Cobalt small car earlier this year. The automaker said it sped development of the XFE trucks and SUVs because of consumer demand for more fuel-efficient vehicles. GM’s truck and SUV sales fell 23 percent in the first seven months of this year. GM also offers hybrid versions of the Tahoe and Yukon and plans to bring out hybrid versions of the Silverado and Sierra .

There are some fantastic limos available for hire in the Midlands area. In fact the limousines available are level with those in the London boroughs. The Midlands covers a large area of middle England from Birmingham in the West, through to Nottingham and onto Lincoln. Both have proved to be hugely popular for school proms. The Chrysler C300 Baby Bentley limo is also very popular in the Midlands with many different varieties and colours. There is the Lambo Bentley limousine, which is effectively a Chrysler C300 Baby Bentley limo with Lamborghini doors. Then there is the Shockwave Baby Bentley limousine which is in red. All told there are probably more Chrysler C300 Baby Bentley limos in the Midlands than any other area within the UK.
Every limousine you can think of has a representative in the Midlands. This includes the stretch Lincoln Millennium, Jeep 4×4 and Lincoln Navigator limos as well as a great variety of Hummer H2, Hummer H3 and Baby Hummer limousines. There is an ATV safety crisis in America today, and it poses a great threat to the health and well being of our nation’s children. All-terrain vehicles (ATVs) were first made available in the United States in the early 1970’s, and have become increasingly popular ever since. At first glance, ATVs may seem harmless; however the number of ATV-related injuries and deaths continues to rise with their popularity. Over 136,000 Americans suffer ATV-related injuries and deaths ever year and over one-third of the victims are children under 16 years of age. Despite the increasing epidemic, ATV manufacturers continue to market bigger, faster, and more dangerous ATVs for children.
ATVs have been available in the United States for approximately 40 years. They are three- or four- wheel motorized machines specifically designed for off-road travel. ATVs are intended for single occupant use and are characterized as an open chassis or frame, which travels on large, low-pressure tires, and uses handlebars for steering. Three-wheel machines have not been manufactured since 1988, however many still remain in use. ATV engines range from 49cc to 950cc and can travel at speeds well above 70 miles per hour.
ATV manufacturers were selling as many as 600,000 three- and four-wheel ATVs every year in the United States. As ATV sales continued to rise, dramatic increases in ATV accidents (http://www.bestattorney.com) followed. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) responded to the safety crisis by negotiating a Consent Decree with ATV manufacturers in which they agreed, among other things, to five major elements (http://www.cpsc.gov/library/atv2005.pdf):
• ATV manufacturers agreed to halt production of three-wheelers ATVs.
• ATV manufacturers would offer safety training to all new ATV owners.
• ATV manufacturers would recommend adult-sized ATVs only for those ages 16 and older.
• ATV manufacturers would label all ATVs with warnings, instructing purchasers that children should not ride adult-size ATVs.
• ATV manufacturers would recommend ATV engine sizes according to age: ATVs with an engine greater than 70cc should be used only by children 12 and older, and ATVs with an engine greater than 90cc should be used only by those 16 and older.

There was no ‘eureka’ moment, but rather a gradual evolution of automobile milestones. Dependent upon how liberally you apply the definition of automobile, which literally means ‘self-moving’, designs for such a vehicle can be traced to as far back to the 15th Century and drawings made by a true visionary - Leonardo Da Vinci. However, when it comes to a working self-propelled car, then Nicolas-Joseph Cugnot may well claim the title of original inventor. In 1769 he produced a fully functional road vehicle, or military tractor, built specifically for the French Army which recorded a top speed of 2.5 M.P.H. and was powered by steam.
But, the car as we know it, propelled by an internal combustion petrol engine, was first successfully road-tested and patented by Karl Freidrich Benz in Germany in 1886. The three-wheel vehicle was propelled by a four-cycle internal combustion engine and in the same year another famous name associated with motoring and fellow German, Gottlieb Wilhelm Daimler, along with his partner Wilhelm Maybach also produced an automobile but complete with the world’s first four-stroke engine. The first Briton to build a motor car was a plumber and gas fitter by the name of Fred Bremer, who at the tender age of 20 in 1892 started construction of his four-wheeled, petrol driven car, which he first drove on the open road two years later. But it was brothers Frank and Charles Duryea, who became the first American car manufacturers in 1893 and indeed it was also in the USA that mass production became the standard for car manufacture. In 1901 Ransome Eli Olds introduced the basic assembly line in Detroit and became the largest manufacturer of cars. By 1913 however, Henry Ford had developed an assembly plant in Highland Park, Michigan that included a conveyor belt which drastically reduced production times; a Model T took 93 minutes to build from start to finish, and as a result his company became the world’s largest manufacturer. By 1927 over 15million Model T’s had been built at the plant. Once Ford’s assembly techniques were exported throughout the world the car soon became the most popular method of transport. During the late 20th century cars became widely affordable and the most convenient way to travel. However, its popularity also led to a necessary introduction of various laws to protect both drivers and pedestrians, and the inevitable introduction of taxes to help swell the chancellor’s coffers. Major UK motoring legislation milestones include:* Driving licences became compulsory in Jan 1904* Petrol first taxed, at 3d per gallon, in 1908* Tax discs become compulsory under the Roads and Finance Act 1920* First automatic traffic lights turned on in Wolverhampton in 1928* Car insurance cover legally required for all drivers under the Road Traffic Act 1930* Driving tests become compulsory June 1935
There’s no doubt the concept of the automotive has changed dramatically from it’s early days, but still it shows no sign of stopping with manufacturers ploughing millions of pounds each year into researching new models, methods of fuel and passenger safety; all a far cry from it’s pipe-dream beginnings on a piece of paper

Pickups sales have been high because they are reliable when it comes to engine power and performance. In fact, Detroit automakers are considering this type as sales and profit boosters as compared with SUVs.But, in today’s modern time, the pick ups evolved into more sophisticated vehicles. They now have expensive features found on cars that include leather seats, booming stereos and large passenger compartments. Moreover, pickups have also adopted the same image as SUVs and are now parked in industrialized areas – gone are the days for “construction site only parking”. Unfortunately in terms of popularity and sales, SUVs surpassed pickups. And even for companies with the newest models, truck sales have dropped while rebates and other incentives are climbing.
Two months ago, Bucky Hacker exchanged his 2002 Dodge Ram Quad Cab pickup with a subcompact car - the Mazda 3 with top of the line Mazda throttle position sensor. A student from Oak Ridge, Tennessee, Mr. Hacker bought his Dodge vehicle to drag a boat and also to attract girls with its very masculine appearance. But he was ridiculed. His Dodge gas consumption reached 13 miles per gallon just for towing the boat while his new Mazda averages twice that or 26 miles per gallon in city and highway driving.
According to him the reasons behind the decline in the truck sales are the customers’ growing sense of environmental concern, the steeping gas prices, and the uncertain housing market which triggers number of contractors to delay buying new trucks. All these caused the sales drop to 5 percent so far from last year’s weak market. Such percentage is more than 50 percent of the overall decline in industry sales which is so far 2 percent down this year.
According to the Power Information Network, the average discount on a Dodge Ram is $6,000 – a $500 increase since January. On every Silverado pickup, Chevrolet is paying an average of $2,343 in incentives. When the truck was new at the beginning of the year, the brand doubled its discounts. A data from CNW Marketing Research, which follows industry trends, showed that 6 years ago, 28 percent of consumers all over US who bought pickups did so because of the vehicles’ appearance.
Ford, which strongly depends on trucks, has 24 percent sales on pickups and 41 percent on the company’s gross North American profits during the past five years. This was according to Mr. Johnson’s computations in a research report.Same as Ford, GM, too, heavily relies on pick ups. GM’s 32 percent of gross profits is composed of 20 percent pickups sales and others; while Chrysler pickups contributed 25 percent of its profits and 18 percent were pickups vehicle sales during the past five years.
However, despite economic dread, some dealers say their pickup truck business has remained as it is. Meanwhile, auto makers that were badly affected by such trend on trucks are optimistic that they will soon find a way to regain their losses. To make pickup trucks marketable again like decades ago, car companies must address the issue on the vehicles’ fuel economy and make some more innovations. After all, everybody now is affected by the continuously increasing gas prices while considering vehicle design and styling.
