Missouri man collapses, dies after southern Ont. truck crash
A man from Missouri died Monday after a crash between two tractor-trailers near Strathroy, Ont.
Provincial police say Thomas Hart, 52, was driving eastbound on Highway 402 east of Strathroy at around 3 a.m. when he was rear-ended by a tractor-trailer carrying two brothers from Michigan.
Hart didn’t suffer any noticeable injuries but collapsed two hours later and was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The driver of the second truck, Bradley Schultetus, 26, was uninjured.
His brother, Christopher Schultetus, 27, was in the sleeping berth at the time of the collision and was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
